in their first 
Spiritual Care Conference on Crisis and Trauma
August 16-20, 2010

Since its foundation in 1989, ICISF has focused on easing the suffering of those who work with victims of crisis, trauma, and natural and man-made disasters. From the Oklahoma City bombing through 9/11 and up to the recent earthquakes in Haiti, counselors with ICISF training have helped intervention providers take their own first steps on the path to healing so that they can continue to help others. The Denver Seminary CISM Team is a specialized ICISF Team, dedicated to educating and assisting the leadership of any faith-based community or higher education institution so that they can more ably work in the continual health and healing of their constituents.

As a specialized CISM Team that focuses on the education, spiritual nurture and psychological healing of leadership who work with their own disaster survivors, we are pleased that ICISF has selected us for the first-ever training conference for clergy, laity, mental health and first providers from all faith communities.
